The Hell Star is a rare item dropped by the Decayer that is used solely to craft beacons.

The Hell Star can only be obtained by slaying the Decayer, which is a boss. One Hell Star will be dropped each time, and is not affected by the Looting enchantment.
Usage[]
The Hell Star has the same animated sparkle that magical items and potions have. The dropped Hell Star cannot despawn. However, it can still be destroyed by fire, lava, and acrogen. It is used to craft a beacon.
Crafting Ingredient[]
Five glass, one Hell Star, and three obsidian make one beacon.
History[]
On August 23, 2018, the Hell Star's model was added to Venture. On September 6th, 2018, the Hell Star was implemented into the game, as the drop of the Decayer. On September 13th, 2018, the Hell Star's model was changed to remove the black outline.
