“A single droplet has the ability to turn a person's heart blacker than the darkness.”

- Count Lionel

Antimatter (also called Concentrated Malice) is a sinister material known for corrupting people. Antimatter is a strong material made in the Mountains of Endless Blackness and can be armed in the Zanbato. Made of pure, unadulterated sins and originating from the essence of the Void, Antimatter has corrupting characteristics, with a single drop able to turn a person completely immoral and even matter that touches it is able to turn a person insane from rage.

Obtaining[]

Mountains of Endless Blackness[]

The Mountains of Endless Blackness are formed entirely from Antimatter. Mining Antimatter requires a Hellbrick Pickaxe.

Usage[]

Zanbato[]

Antimatter crystals can be placed in the Zanbato to increase its damage dealt, by -2 HP per crystal inserted.

Venturian Battle: Venturecru (Non-Canon)[]

The Cannibal leader Clip, having eliminated or else witnessed the death of all potential rivals to his power, takes advantage of the Antimatter shards, using their sinister energy to make himself strong and corrupt countless Cannibals, placing them under his control. Allying with the also infected and now power-craving Blip, the two set in motion a plan to use the Antimatter to become the new Vast Consumer. Meanwhile, figuring out how to deal with the return of the substance to Venture's shores, Alfonso Jacob came across a stranger with an amazing, natural resistance to Antimatter. Recruiting them as part of his team, Alfonso sent the recruit to help his sons, even as Count Lionel, investigating the threat, discovered Clip and Blip's plans.

Trivia[]

  • Interestingly enough, the main character of Venturian Battle: Venturecru is completely immune to the properties of Antimatter, though how and why is unknown.

Venture.com Description[]

A terrible substance found beneath the dirt of Dark Isle and making up the Mountain of Endless Shade. Antimatter resembles indigo muck in its natural state but turns black when polished. A super small amount of it can utterly corrupt anyone, and Clip himself once called it “concentrated malice.” Perdita uses this substance in his machines, as well as to turn Giuseppe Marino evil.
